From the air. Rusper Road, Ifield 1930's

In the foreground, coming from the right of the pic, is what is now known as Tangmere Road.

At the top right of the pic is the old Ifield School and just below that a row of oak trees which mark where Parham Road is now.

The fields in the foreground to the left are Rusper Road playing fields. I think the oak tree in the middle of the field is still there between the two football pitches.

FIVE PICTURES: Improvements to Dobbins Pond, Ifield

Looks much neater, especially with the addition of a bridge over the dip on the path through the woods, but why do CBC have to obliterate so many trees every time they go to work anywhere?
